@mersterling All I can say is try it. I have gone back and forth and when I include dairy, I personally have much more mucus. I had a doctor tell me that dairy and gluten are highly inflammatory foods. I won't say I will never have it, I am choosing to not have it for the most part. People are very sensitive about trying to take a way their dairy. They can have it. Good luck with that. But true, what fun is life without cake once in a while...not kidding. I don't drink, so alcohol it not a problem.

@joycecates I think diet is very important . I have eliminated many foods. Eliminating dairy is the hardest to stay with . I grew up on a dairy farm . I worked at a cheese factory in Bandon, Oregon. So cheddar cheese , butter , fresh cream, were regular fare at our house . I read a bit , what I understand is that dairy hardens phlegm. Really doesn’t produce more, but makes it seem so . I had mashed potatoes last night, without butter! &/“#€+!
