Mayofascia is the white elastic thin type stuff easily visible on raw chicken breast. It can get damaged and grow thicker to form adhesion type substance..poor explaination without me googling it.
Mayofascia release is often not covered by insurance unfortunately. Its a type of massage but works much more on the surface of the skin. Mayofasia can get tight and cause severe pain. Not saying you have this but adhesions are usually a type of myofascia.
I only had 3 treatments , I got great relief, it works to relax fascia same as massage relaxes muscles.

Read up on it, people/ Drs dont know too much about fascia and its often overlooked but can be a huge source of pain and greatly restrict movement....they say fascia has a memory, water apparently has a memory, so trauma if great enough ( mine was extensive ) is thought to be stored in fascia as pain, because fascia has a large water component.
