Has anyone else stayed on Tymlos beyond 2 years?

My doctor is keeping me on it an extra 6 months while I get some dental work and an extraction done. I don't think I have any choice anyway, since the next thing is some kind of bisphosphonate like Reclast or Prolia and they are a hard no for extractions!

I'm surprised your insurance covers it. In general, the insurers limit you to two years' max, even if the science supports a longer term. I know there's at least one person here who has been on Forteo for more than two years.

So far they are covering it. I hope they don't suddenly notice/change their mind and try to get me to reimburse them!!

Cheers for your doctor!
