@lindak123, are you referring erythropoietin (EPO), a synthetic forms like epoetin alfa, is used to treat anemia in cancer patients to stimulate bone marrow to produce red blood cells? Are you also taking filgrastim or pegfilgratim, prescription medications that boost white blood cell (neutrophil) production?

Hi. I'm am taking Aranesp Darbepoetin Alfa injections. Yes, they are supposed to stimulate my bone marrow to start producing healthy red blood cells. I am not on any other medication. I am very frustrated withy doctor. I have not spoken with him in several months.
