Leg Pain

I had back surgery to alleviate leg pain to no avail. The pain remains and I have no idea what to do…any suggestions?

Please provide more information. What kind of spine surgery. How long ago.
How was it determined that the spine was creating leg pain. What part of the spine.
What does your surgeon have to say about the continuing pain and what is his/her treatment plan now.

Due to spinal stenosis the 4 and 5 vertebrae was fused in May. MRI and X-rays indicated that everything is okay but leg pain persist. Surgeon has not made any comments other than there does not appear to be any nerve impingement

@kreamks1 Could it be due to the leg itself? I have spinal stenosis (had a double fusion at L5/S1 in 2009) and before my total knee replacement in November, my pain doctor and my surgeon (for the knee replacement) wanted to make sure the pain in the leg was not coming from my back, so my pain specialist did a test to determine where the pain was originating..and it was the knee itself...good luck!

My pain begins in my buttocks then runs down my legs to the back of my knees. Did your doctor perform a specific test to determine the source of the pain?
