Lung testing has revealed severely reduced lung volume, severely reduced diffusing capacity.
summary: Restrictive Lung Disease with Reduced Gas Exchange.
I am having a consultation with a neurosurgeon next month bur I think he will have reservations about surgery with my lung condition.

@woodmaw I agree with you, but spinal anesthesia would not require you to be “put out” if they perform minimally invasive surgery. Spinal nerve ablation is done as an outpatient too. I hope you get some hope and pain relief going forward. Good luck.
