Evenity injections after 6 th mo 5 days after injection severe muscle

I have had 11 Evenity injections without any issues. I have my last one in a week. I have had significant muscle spasms, and weakness in both thighs for the last two days. Was wondering if it was from the Evenity.

I had my third injection and I have been having sharp spasms in my ribs; I wasn’t sure if they were related to the shot, but apparently they are.

I'm scheduled to start Evenly but now I need 2 teeth pulled. The teeth are year old "failed root canals". My Rheumatologist is no help and said he will start when I have dental clearance. The oral surgeon tells me can start within a month after extraction. I do not know if I should just start Evenity and wait a year for extraction. Anyone have this happen? I'm 79 and have a compression in thoracic spine.

@ann31 From what I’ve read and heard I would not start the Evenity until a few months after having your teeth taken care of. A failed root canal can cause many issues.
You didn’t mention if you have been on any other bone meds.

@kristie2 This will be my first time taking any osteoporosis meds. I'm having my Pcp send a referral to another rheumatologist to maybe get more answers. I appreciate your information and it sounds like the same way I feel about starting Evenity After fixing teeth. Thank you

During the time that I was on Evenity I had a root canal & gum graft without any problems.
