@doriba Just had an ablation for SVT yesterday. The procedure was quite uneventful from my patient perspective. I thought I was out for most of the procedure but turns out they used twilight anesthesia, and said I was awake and alert and participating the whole time. I have zero memory of that 😁. After-surgery recovery was pretty simple, had no incision pain and a sore-muscles ache in my chest. Tylenol took care of that. Went home that day. Second day, today, very little discomfort, don't even need Tylenol. Now it's wait and see time. Dr is quite optimistic that he zapped out the rogue cells, time will tell!

I'm just reading your post today 4/1/26. It doesn't say if you had your ablation in 2025 or 2026. I am wondering how you are progressing.
I had an ablation for SVT and PVC but I am still getting both, so I opted to stay on Metoprolol since I still have an arrhythmia.
I had my ablation in August of 2025. My doctor was optimistic that both problems would be corrected, but they weren't. The palpitations are much less severe than before, but they are not gone.
