@hopeful33250 well I don't have much news yet about the biopsy. Possible Ca but further evaluation with a genetic test. I have to wait another week. I asked about the goiter and the young doctor looked confused. I told him my symptoms and he then took a look at the records I had brought from my prior Doctor. He went and discussed it with the head doctor and came back and said well we can refer you to a surgeon and I told him my view point on that. I don't want unnecessary surgery that I would wait until the test results were final and then make my decision. I don't think he was really prepared and I want surgery only if I need it. My blood pressure drops so low during any surgery I feel unnecessary surgery is too much of a risk to take. Does anyone else have an opinion on this matter. I believe I found the doctor at a loss of words but I have so many things going on I need concrete reasons to remove anything from my body now.

@wkrebs59 It sounds as if you are doing a great job advocating for yourself! I hope that you continue to learn as much as you can and encourage your medical team to think with you on future treatments.
