Hello,
I am 78 and have pain at the base of my right thumb which I assume is arthritis. It showed up a year and a half ago while mountain biking, and has gotten progressively worse. I have basically no grip strength and if I accidentally hit the base of my thumb, it really hurts. Do I begin with a talk with my primary care physician?
