This is what the RA gave me but I never heard of anyone taking this. Does it work?

I have dry mouth which is particularly bad at night, waking me up multiple times during the night. I started taking pilocarpine - 1 tablet (5 mg) before bed and it seems to help, but not eliminate the problem. With pilocarpine I still wake up a couple of times, but not as bad as before. Tried taking 2 tablets, but that causes excessive sweating, which also wakes me up.

I am a tonsil cancer survivor (7.5 yr). Xylimelts were a Godsend for my dry mouth. It has a very mild mint flavor with xylitol to stimulate the damaged saliva glands. They have a surface that can stick to your gums and they last for up to four hours. Good for sleep. Hope this information helps.
