This sounds like my issue. However, I had hiatal hernia surgeon and had battled SIBO after surgery. I took the antibiotics and another test which was then negative. Currently, the GI Dr and I are trying to determine if my symptoms are IBS or SIBO. I have to be off my probiotic for 30 days before taking another breathe test. I did get diagnosed with IBS with those symptoms you are describing. However, my past SIBO symptoms were identical so that is why we are thinking we need to proceed with another breathe test. It seems to be very tricky and frustrating. I’m currently back to the low fod map diet.
