Has anyone tried red light and nutrition suppliments?

I recently went to a seminar put on by a chiropractor for treating neuropathy. From there I did a two session evaluation that ended with a proposal for red light therapy on my feet, a nutrition suppliment and weekly office visits for adjustments. The 16 week program was $8000. After some insurance contribution and a "discount" it came to $5000. I said I'd need more time to evaluate this. All new to me. I originally went to the seminar to find out more about my neuropathy. I basically have cold hands and feet and numbness in my feet overnight. No pain. Can anyone comment on whether this is justified? Might it prevent my condition from getting worse? Other suggestions?

That's encouraging. I'm about ready to try it since it's working for you and others. Thanks.

@franchisejones Do not buy a cheap red light therapy device from Amazon. Buy one that is medical grade made in the US. I paid $1800 for mine. I bought one that had good reviews

I have a red light device and have used it for years. I don’t have pain but get tingling sensations due to spinal stenosis, overuse and covid. It definitely helps you can see order a home device for less than $2k and use it any time you want. The key is the spectrum of light. The newer ones also pulse both red and infrared light.

I went to a similar seminar 7 years ago and ended up buying my own red light therapy device which I use 20 minutes daily. I paid $1800 for a medical grade device made in the US. The mumbness has not progressed

@joannehart

Do you mean the numbness was held in check
or that the numbness problem has improved?

REPLY

Yes, it has remained in my toes only.
