Incidental lung nodule different Dr opinions help

@alic I think you need to have a talk with your doctor about what she means by "high risk."

As for why they did not remove the nodules, invasive surgeries are avoided unless absolutely necessary. Most lung nodules are benign, so jumping into potentially unnecessary surgery is too risky.

I'm sorry you have to deal with the worry for the next few months, but it is better the risk of an unneeded operation.

Do you have someone you can talk to to help deal with your anxiety?

@sueinmn the high risk is Nodify liquid biopsy that says I have a very high risk of having lung cancer from the antibodies that tested positive. It’s why I said take it out if it’s going to turn into it. As far as anxiety no. I am, an anxious person but this roller coaster has need 3 insane months …I have had a hard year so this didn’t not help it. Thanks
