If COVID actually played a role, it would have been temporary. You were probably told this as a working theory.

Blood pressure can fluctuate after an illness, and it settles back down over time. We’re still learning more about COVID-19 and how it can affect the body.
So if it was ever presented as a permanent change, that wouldn’t really be accurate. Once the virus is out of your system, your body’s hormones and blood pressure regulation return to normal.

Sorry I edited the post. Does that mean COVID did spike my Bp and it stayed that way??
