The decision to use gemcitabine/docetexal on me was determined by an AI application called Vesta, which upon examination of my path slides after TURBT showed that BCD would not be effective in my case. I had 5 weeks of gemdoce with no side effects and was pronounced clear during my follow-up cystoscopy a couple of weeks ago. I have now had the first of the 12 month, 4-weekly maintenance gemdoce. Apart from occasional urgency, I have had no side effects. GemDoce is not systemic so does not cause the usual chemo side-effects.

@dianeoh26, which treatment was recommended for you? Have you started treatment?

Gemzar once a week for 6 weeks , then once a month for a year. I have not started tx yet but hopefully will the beginning of April
