My second sudden cardiac arrest was more traumatic because I was alone. I have no reason why I woke up. I also do not know how long I was down. I did feel myself going down but I passed out before I hit the ground. My first episode I just dropped to the floor but had no warning. Both times when I came to it took a while to get my composure. Both incidents it took a while to think back on what just happened. No doubt there is a God! I'm blessed!
Now I have cardiac amyloidosis and I'm experiencing numerous ischemic strokes. Now I realize that there is no crystal ball and nobody knows for sure how long we have. Yes, get the best care that you can, but in the end it's out of our hands.

@jachrist Jim it appears someone has your back since you haven’t left us yet. I’ve been reading a lot about near death experiences that some people experience when their heart stops. If it ever comes to pass that I experience this I’m hoping for an NDE. Life becomes a little boring as we age so I’m hoping for some excitement that’s out of this world.
