No orgasm 10 years after radiation treatment: Anyone get it back?
10 years out on radiations treatments. no orgasm not sure for how long .my question is if anyone has got it back after that long? I'm on trimix, which help with the erection. I'm 83 years old and still have the desire.

@rooroo Sex after prostate cancer isn’t about “thinking with your prick.” It’s about a grieving process and having to relearn how to be intimate.
In my fumbling youth, I had to learn how to please a partner sexually, as well as myself. After a lot of trial and error, I found ways to do it that served me for 40 years.
Now, I've got to re-learn these things again as well as let go of the grief, anger and sadness because those emotions kill intimacy regardless of physical functioning or lack thereof.
I don't think there's a conflict between being grateful for being alive and also still wanting a sex life. It's possible, at the same time, to be grateful AND experience frustration while working through intimacy issues.

2 Reactions@rooroo Thanks for your generosity, I need some pity too! Thanks.
Reason for no climaxing after radiation treatment. It's been over ten years from radiation with no climaxing. What I would like to know if anyone has regained a climax after that long or suggest a cure if there is one. Thank you
Hi, for a few years after radiotherapy, I had ED issues, but they have resolved and function has normalized. Not sure why: Time? Supportive relationships? Other?
At 74, between radiation and ADT my libido is zilch. I can achieve an erection and orgasm (somewhat anticlimactic in intensity) with much effort, but there is no ejaculate, which I was warned would be the case after radiation. Hopefully my libido and erectile function returns after my 12-18 mos ADT course is completed, but I understand that my ejaculate will remain dry forever. Such is life ; it sucks but I still see the glass as half full. When I begin to think it is half empty I quickly remind myself that things could be far worse.

2 ReactionsMy husband is 70 and going to start ADT and in a month or so radiation for his Gleason 9 will start. We were also very concerned by the lack of erections and libido caused by long term ADT. I believe there are Penile Rehabilitation Specialist and they can help.
