Anyone had autoimmune flares starting Revlimid?
Hello
I was recently diagnosed with Lichen Sclerosis and am on 6 weeks of daily clobetasol. Things were settling until I had to commence Revlimid for pre-existing, transfusion dependent MDS del5q. After the first week, a horrible LS flare began, (despite being on the daily topical steroid ointment). I'm very suspicious about the connection, and worried, as I'm supposed to remain on the Revlimid. When I asked the haematologist and dermatologist about the potential effect of the Revlimid on LS, before I started it, neither had much to say. Has anyone else had autoimmune flares (especially skin) on Revlimid? I did get a transient rash on my arms in the first week, but I know that's a common side effect, and it has gone. Thanks.

I was on Revlimid for MM. it was awful and they lowered the dose from 15mg to 5mg and I still had issues. Hives/ welts in thighs and breasts, swelling in hands and feet, I had a large bubble/ growth on my eyelid at one point. I told them I was not going to stay on it.
@kaydee26 That sounds horrible. I’ve just finished my week off Revlimid and the LS has settled. I guess I’ll know if there’s a definite connection if it gets worse again this week, back on the drug.
