@ckingsanctuary Hi, I am so sorry to hear you are going through all of this. Have you looked into more natural remedies and supplements such as alpha lipoic acid for pain and neuropathy. My rheumatologist recommended 1,200 mg per day and is over the counter. My rheumy also prescribed LDN (low dose naltrexone-off label use) at 0.5-4.5mg which at this dosage must be filled by a compounding pharmacy. Terry Naturally has product- Curamin Extra Strength Pain Relief supplement with Boswellia, Curcumin, DLPA (DL-Phenylalanine) & Nattokinase which are amazing for relief of chronic pain & inflammation especially in legs and feet (for non-addictive, safe and effective). If you haven't talked about Duloxetine (off label) for pain and neuropathy. I take 120 mg of this as is what my specialists said this is the therapeutic dosage for my conditions (RA, etc.). I would recommend following some really informative and trustworthy integrative/functional/naturopathic physicians such as Dr. David Jockers, Dr. Axe, Dr. Peter Osborne, and there are so many. Red Light & Near Infrared Therapy (see Dr. Jocker's podcast with Ari Whitten this week) is also very effective for reducing inflammation in the body, which as you are probably aware is the issue as well as the cause for many PIs (primary immune) and AIs (auto immune) diagnoses. There are many clinical studies on natural remedies found on NIH/PubMed, and I encourage you to check them out. Western Medicine has not caught up to what many cultures and natural medicine physicians know (my opinion). I hope you find relief and joy again soon.
