Mysterious shortness of breath: What has helped you?

Hi. I had esophageal cancer almost 6 years ago but I'm cancer free. I have difficulty breathing just like you by the sounds of it. I have most bad days and then a good one. If I do too much like walking, shopping I feel exhausted and have to rest for a day. If food gets lodged in my throat due to cancer surgery it's really difficult to breath. My doctors seem to be unconcerned but waiting for an appointment with a breathing specialist. I'm wondering if you have any ideas. Thanks Deb

@doglover888 Hi, first I'm glad you are cancer free! That's a big deal. Wonderful to hear. It sounds like you have an idea of what might be going on, but might be asking about temporary relief prior to seeing your doctor. Are you asking about the food getting lodged in your throat specifically, or breathing trouble in general?
