@sueinmn Going through this thread that I apparently started back then in 2025 due to my CScan results to day. A good one.
FINDINGS:
The lungs show findings typical of chronic mycobacterial infection. There are
scattered areas of bronchiectasis and bronchial thickening along with scattered
peribronchial nodularities and opacities.
The good part: When compared with previous exams, the
opacities in the left lower lung are less solid and likely improved. There is
also some modest improvement in right lower lobe opacities.
No new lobar type consolidation. No pleural effusion. No definite concerning
pulmonary lesions.
So onto continued work to get, hopefully, a better report next C Scan.
I an waiting on the latest sputum test results. Last one no indication of the culture showing an infection..no +, no colonies nothing reported as MAI etc. Hope it doesn't go back and forth, positive, negative, positive. Finger crossed.
Sue when you said above: "because my BE is stable"...what all does that mean??
Thanks again your suggestion and Irene8's suggestion regarding my low count and antibiotics...stay on watchful waiting. Done and good so far.
It's just that darn need to clear the throat area nearly all day long and it just might be something that needs to be rechecked. Will discuss with the pulmonologist tomorrow and see what he thinks.

@blm1007blm1007 Could your need to clear the throat be related to sinus drainage? Have you checked that out?
