Had radical hyserectomy: Why am I still so tired almost 3 weeks out?
Should I still be soooo tired? I do a few things- then just want to go lie down. It will be three weeks tomorrow.
Psychologially, I seem fine- not upset or depressed although concerned about transportation to chemo once that''s scheduled.
Is or was anyone else just sooo tired? My family members seem to not understand.

2 ReactionsI do understand what you are saying. It's been over a year since my hysterectomy but I do remember the tiredness.
It does get better just listen to your body.

1 ReactionEat lots of protein. Try ensure with 30 grams of protein. Keep busy, walking is a great way to build up endurance.
Praying for your recovery!

1 Reaction@hlthcr2000, I know you're getting ready to start chemo soon, but I wanted to check back into this discussion. It's been almost 5 weeks now since your surgery. How is the tiredness? Getting better every day?

3 ReactionsThanks! Less tired but it lasted longer than expected. We all deal with us horrible Dx differently- it takes a while to accept the “new normal”
