@kidobutai yes, eight 2.5mg. tablets of Methotrexate taken together, one day a week, then one Folic Acid (I think 5mg. - your doctor would know) once a day for the next six days. It is very important to take the Folic Acid when on Methotrexate. I am not sure what the Folic Acid does, but your doctor or pharmacist would know.
Be aware that while Methotrexate with Folic Acid worked for me, it may not, with you as everyone’s body reacts differently to any medication. You won’t see results until six or eight weeks after starting on this medication.

Folic acid is given with methotrexate to reduce side effects without significantly reducing the drug’s therapeutic effect.
Methotrexate inhibits folate pathways → needed for DNA and cell repair.
This can cause folate deficiency–like side effects, such as:
mouth sores (stomatitis)
nausea
fatigue
liver enzyme elevation
low blood counts
Folic acid is taken with methotrexate to replace the folate that MTX blocks, thereby reducing toxicity while maintaining treatment effectiveness.
