Evenity Joint Aches

Posted by klpco @klpco, Mar 4 12:53pm

I started Evenity in Feb and had severe joint aches including in my jaw after the 1st injections for 5 days, and neck and jaw pain after the 2nd one for 2 days. So I'm improving, but I'm concerned about the jaw pain. Has anyone else had that experience and if so - did you continue with the treatment or stop? My endocrinologist says it's up to me to make that decision.

Ive had a 4 months of Evenity and my body is in a full flare of pain. Dr. Wants me to stick with it.

I’ve had 10 and it is an issue, mostly knees and hips. It tapers off after 2 weeks for me. I take one Aleve every day and two Tylenol extended release at bedtime so I can keep up with my daily exercise routine and sleep.

I also started taking glucosamine and chondroitin supplements this week and they seem to be helping. I’m hanging there because I only have five weeks to go to finish my treatment.

@bzenbren I've used glucosamine chondroitin (Osteobiflex) , turmeric, and other anti inflammatories like green/white tea, ginger powder in my coffee, and omega 3 food sources (fish walnuts), to treat my knee pain, they seem to help. I have recently started achilles tendonitis pain, and am wondering if anyone has experienced that?

I have had 2 Evenity injections. Had some jaw pain and headache after the first. 2nd one was better but have had more lower back pain. Not sure if that’s been caused by cold damp weather or Evenity.
