What are your underlying conditions causing hemorrhage in one or both?
Have had recurrent subconjunctival hemorrhages in my left eye the past year, then today a hemorrhage in my right but not at the same time. Have seen optometrists and ophthalmologists and my general doctor with bloodwork and tests and everyone says not to worry but this cannot be normal? Anybody experiencing this? Looking for an underlying cause other than high blood pressure or diabetes. Any blood disorders that may be causing this?

I'm going to update my previous post. I found stopping omega 3/D fish oil to be helpful.
@jeanrod825 My husband and I ate at a very good restaurant! We both felt something off later at home. My weird ! stomach disturbance was gone next day. My husband had diarrhea for 2 weeks, lost the left eye at the 15,16,17th day,(3 days). Played tennis once during the 17 days. Never happened before. We eat out all the time.
80 years old , Type 1 Diabetic, Parkinsons ,
Very active life stye, NO SIDE EFFECTS FROM EITHER UP TO THIS DATE.
1ST DOCTOR AN OLDER Retinologist told him he had an infarction, go home , take an aspirin. 2ND DOCTOR A YOUNG Ophthalmologist said go to the emergency room for testing (Lupus, GCA, etc.) He had a high inflammation rate(ESR 76,CPR 80 ) TESTED 4 DAYS WITH NO EVIDENCE FOUND TO SUPPORT GCA .3RD DOCTOR Neuro-ophthalmologist Eye evaluation raised some questions. 3. 4TH DOCTOR, Rheumatologist considered as final decision because of THREAT OF LOSS OF 2ND EYE.
HIGH HIGH DOSES OF SOLUMEDROL THEN lowered dose PREDNISONE tapered to ACTEMRA FOR EYE "PROTECTION" ATRIAL FIBRILLATION OCCURRED SO ELIQUIS FOR HEART "PROTECTION".
ALL SERIOUS DRUGS FOR "PROTECTION".
NO OTHER EYE OR HEART SYMPTOMS followed the loss of the eye. But, serious side effects from all of the drugs. How do you recover? No doctor has discussed the
after effects of the drugs . No doctor recognizes that Eliquis taken over time can be debilitating .
The left eye can see one object only in bright light. But only on occasion. No test can recognize the small segment in the eye that sees "something" occasionally.
Your details ?????
"Proven" GCA or "Suspected" GCA??

GCA IS supposed to directly affect vision !!!!threatening blindness.
ONE DOCTOR TOLD A PATIENT GCA DOESN'T AFFECT VISION.
ANOTHER DOCTOR TELLS A DIFFERENT PATIENT THAT GCA CAN CAUSE TOTAL BLINDNESS . TAKE THESE DRUGS WITH HUGE SIDE EFFECTS IMMEDIATELY , NO CHOICE.
@chanemann1 so sorry y'all are having all these problems. High doses of prednisone can be very debilitating. I finally got off the prednisone in August of last year and finally feeling much better. Seems like medication is worse than the disease itself. My test was never conclusive of GCA but I had all the symptoms so I was treated for it. Takes a long time to recover. I am on Bromonidine drops for life to try to save vision. I have an appointment with Rheumatologist tomorrow and I hope he will not want to put me on more meds. Keep the faith that there will be an end in sight and feel better. Prayers and hugs.
