Hi @kathy49,

My neurologist started C\L by titrating the dosage in this manner: a half tablet once a day for one week (with food to avoid nausea); the second week I took a half tablet twice a day. This titration schedule continued until I reached three full tablets a day. It was a conservative approach but it was a comfortable approach which lessened any potential side effects.

Will you post again and let me know how you are doing and if you have any questions?

@hopeful3325 I do hope you adjust to the medication Carbidopa/Levodopa without any problems. It has helped me in controlling my tremors where other medications had not. I was on so many of this medication that my neurologist switched it to the Liquid form known as , Vyalev . Once you get to the proper dose you should really feel a big difference. I went up to the 4 pills a day and did that for about eight months. Any transition into a new medication can be quite frightening. I started to notice the changes after about a week since the Primidone had not stopped my tremor. I understand each of our doses will be different so hopefully when you get to the full dose your symptoms will be controlled and you are able to focus on all the other aspects we need such as exercise, diet and overall well being which is all affected with our condition. Do let me know how you progress and if I can share anything else with you.
