I would add red cabbage, red onion, black grapes and black lentils. All have anthocyanins in their deep pigments that calm the cytokines and stop the battle with our immune system that is the cause of inflammation.

Anthocyanins (Greek for blue flower) are fragile and should be eaten raw or only lightly cooked. A substantial amount of them on a constant basis is needed for improvement, but it is a healthy treatment.
