I used Red Light Therapy, I know it is safe, if you use
it at home, there is no third party to get things wrong!

When I first heard about it, "Photo Bio Modulation Therapy"
is the official name, the cost to start up was astronomical,
$1200, for a 4' X 1' panel of red light, so I built my own, I
bought "Grow Panels", from Ebay and joint them together
technically, I am a retired electrical engineer, so I had a
start.

I read everything that I could find about the subject and
found it very interesting, It has been known since 1909,
it was studied by a few in the West, but the Russians went
for it "Big Time", they kept the results to themselves and
didn't translate any finding into another language, although
they really believe in it, if you go to a doctor in Moscow, you
are more likely, to get half-an-hour of red Light Therapy,
that you are to get any drugs.

@mikem3 In Germany during the 1950s and 60s, if you experienced chest, knee, shoulder, sinus, or headache pain, the first treatment a doctor would often prescribe was red light therapy. Patients were typically required to return to the office every other day for repeated sessions. Only if there was no significant improvement were medications prescribed.

Oh wow thats amazing. I have been wanting to try red light therapy for my wrinkles. My face also has redness, mostly in the morning when I wake up. Which panel are you using?

Mike, It sounds like you did a much deeper dive than I did. I'm curious why you chose "Grow Panels"? I think they are mostly "Full Spectrum".
My impression was Red and Near IR were the most effective. I sent with LEDs around 700nm to 900nm range. They were designed for mostly for night vision cameras. I have them setup to turn on for about 20 minutes before I wakeup in the morning. I've been doing this for months and haven't really been able to say if it has improved my health at all.

Amazon has a large selection of the red light devices. Good prices also. I have had.mine for several years. I have had fibromyalgia for 26years with daily pain. I'm scared to use every day but at least twice a week and it seems to help! I also have a compressed disc that I have had several steroid shots for and I use it on my back. I now have osteoarthritis of my knees and will wrap it around my knees! After getting very comfortable with it, I have placed it on my head. I just had a thought, maybe it will help my IBSD, so I will wrap it around my belly.
So far I have not had any burns!!!! But, I have learned that after putting around knees there may be a little pain and then it all feels better!
