Hi. @jj999 While waiting for a reply from @zellheff, I just wanted to welcome you to Mayo Connect. This has to be quite a shock for you and your son with his new diagnosis of nodular lymphocyte-predominant Hodgkin lymphoma (NLPHL).
Is he still waiting for other confirmation testing besides the PET scan? Has his doctor discussed treatment options for your son?

@loribmt Yes, we are doing the PET scan this week to stage. The recommendation has been to start radiation first and then based on the scan results we will also consider immunotherapy. Sloan is redoing the pathology also, we just sent them his slides. And, thank you for the kind welcome. You are correct, this has been a lot to take in over the past couple weeks.
