I have read on this forum some encouraging results for pain reduction using the Bemer device. I have found a pain management center nearby that offers 25 minute Bemer therapy sessions. Before I spend $6,000 for a Bemer device I would like to take a few sessions at the Pain Center. Looking for advice as to how many sessions and what frequency of visits it will take to see if I notice a reduction in pain? I am a 78 year old male and have had peripheral neuropathy since 2021 (thank you to COVID vaccine). My feet hurt all the time except when I sleep.

What exactly is a bemer device and what does it do?

Hi, @jeaiken I combined your discussion with an existing discussion on the Bemer treatment:

Here, @bjk3 and @karen4kombucha discussed their experiences with Bemer treatment and may be able to join the conversation again to share any updates they may have.

@jeaiken Good evening ~
Justin McClanahan (Moderator) put me in touch with you and a couple of others. I am really sorry that you are having to put up with pain in your feet for so much of your day/evening. I hope you have found a specialist who can help you to deal with that.
I have had my BEMER for about 2-1/2 years and used the older model that belonged to my physical therapist for almost a year before purchasing my own. I tried to give a detailed description of my experience to mrmacabre (hopefully that's the correct spelling) who has been part of this discussion. It was a big (expensive) investment but I am so glad I went ahead with the purchase. I had enough time and improvement using the older model that my therapist loaned to me, that I didn't spend the money wondering if I'd regret it. I told mrmacabre that I didn't think it helped with pain management but maybe it does -- and I don't realize how I might be hurting if I weren't using it. Some things one really never really can be sure of! But I feel so much better - that is, healthier, able to deal with the effects of PN - using my BEMER. I do hope you are able to access whatever it is that will help you.
