Thanks for the tip. I'm Canadian and new to this WFPB lifestyle. Right now, I don't miss the taste of meat or dairy and trying not to substitute for the foods I am eliminating, but enjoying the tastes of vegetables, fruits and grains. And I do taste them when not adding extra sugar, salt, oils to them.
I feel I am more satiated at the end if the day ( maybe all those vitamins, minerals, antioxidants I'm now consuming. I don't want to lose weight, but have lost 4 pounds with feeling full all the time. It has to be good for my eyes and neuropathy😊.

I started going straight Vegan. I, too, found that vegetables did have a good taste without the butter, salt, and pepper. My doctors had told me to stop or reduce my salt intake before I went Vegan. I get four meals from one package (12 ozs) of meat from HBS. I add one vidalia onion--I quarter it. A 1 pound package of small potatoes, 8 oz of mushrooms, and various vegs. Occasionally, I make a stew using veg broth. I use the following spices: Lemon-pepper, garlic powder (not garlic salt), paprika, and dill weed. The dill weed is to remind me of when I was growing up.
