@belladawn13 JMO Throw the Fosomax (poison) script away and find a new doctor. I have a friend who is dealing with this and she is searching for a new doc. Look for bioidentical hormone replacement. My primary care offers BioT (which is the brand) I can't afford it because other than the blood work the pelets are out of pocket. I worked for a healthcare facility and met many of the nurses who were on this and swore by it.

I respect your experience but one woman's poison is another woman's salvation. Fosomax/alendronate worked very well at stopping further bone loss and I had no noticeable side effects.

When I started bhrt at 76, I had estradiol patches, compounded testosterone cream, progesterone gel capsules and vaginal estradiol cream. Much more reasonably priced than pellets and if you are on medicare labs, cream, progesterone and patches covered in my case. I have original medicare, part d, and a supplemental part f.
