Hi . I have chronic pain after a fall down the stairs and a t 11 spinal fracture 2 years ago. I can't take anti inflammatories because I am on blood thinners. I also have osteoporosis. I don't take any bone medication because of their side effects, but I think I will have to start taking something. Can anyone recommend the safest bone medication please. I know that they all have side effects especially prolia which I won't go back on. I was put on it years ago when it was first on the market, I was only in my fifties and I wasn't informed about it's side effects. I stopped it for dental work not knowing at the time that my bones would lose more density by stopping it. I have just turned 70 .
Thank you for reading this and any advice is welcome.

@ahrensburg75 in reply to your message. I am 75 female with severe osteoporosis (or at least that is what the dexascan said!! However I have just had a spinal fusion for L4/5 degenerative. I also suffer chronic pain , fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue . It’s a hard fight isn’t it . I can recommend Fortibone a side effect free natural supplement. the Professor who operated on me said although my bones are small they are strong !! I am now in recovery stages , trying to build muscle is the hardest . I wish you much luck.
