All of these stories are pretty scary to me. I had terrible pain before I was diagnosed with cross and had a Medtronic scs put in last year. I have had 85 to 90% relief using it. I have to nurses from Medtronic who have adjusted it when needed. Sometimes I have some pain below the battery but it goes away. I still take Tramadol in the morning and sometimes sit with my legs up on pillows using a heating pad and that’s very helpful for my left knee pain. Some days I also take a cbd gummy around 4:00 and that makes me very loopy but takes the pain away. I’m 86 but still go to the gym 2-3 times a week and go out socially with friends. I just try not to sit for too long as that gets painful. So sorry to hear about the trouble and pain others are experiencing. Guess I have very good doctors who listen and having the nurses available is a godsend!

@plakermike88 Oh good, that's wonderful!! Mine is recharging also. Yes - sometimes they don't bc my stimulator "sticks out" of my back and sometimes my skin is too oily, so a little alcohol goes a long way. If it's during the day, I'll use the battery belt they gave me and it works fine to keep it in place. At night, I'll use the sticky pads and lay on my stomach with it uncovered so there's no barrier to make it overheated or cause slow charging.
Yes!! Same thing here! I can’t have mine turned up past 5 or it hurts my legs and feet so bad! I turned it off and have had it off for 2 days now. I wrap my feet with 6 big patches of lidocaine with the self adhesive ace wrap.
@daxel79 were you diagnosed with neuropathy in your feet? What make of SCS do you have implanted? Lidocaine 5% (prescrptiom strength) lidocaine patches help with the scar tissue in my toes for prior surgeries.

@martyk I was diagnosed with CRPS/RSD , it started in my left foot, and has now morphed to my right foot, left hand and left side of my face. I have the Nevro HFX 10 SCS

The SCS is in my spine targeting my left leg from the knee down. The pain was mostly in my left knee. Yes a neurological surgeon performed the surgery. I still have some pain but I try to maintain daily activity (while caring for my 95 year old husband). I actually feel better if I’m active; sitting and bending my knee is the worst for me.

I had a stenosis stimulator for severe lower back pain but I never had any relief from the pain. It was in for about 3 years and then removed so I could have an MRI.

I think they said 80% improvment. But, I never heard of an EVOKE SCS unless it's brand new
