I am a former marathon runner! After my third COVID shot in October of 2021, I started having issues with my feet and ankles! Tingling and burning sensations. In January of 2022, I was coming down the garage stairs, and I missed the bottom step and fell on my right side! I hadn't really noticed, but my balance was not steady. As the year went on, my balance started getting worse and I fell in the kitchen. As a result, I got two- disc compression fractures. I made an appointment with a neurologist, and he ran a number of blood tests and did an EMG along with some muscle biopsies and his diagnosis was CIAP, a form of neuropathy that affects the nerves and not the myelin sheath. As a result, there is no therapy to stop its progression. The doctor suspects that the COVID shots probably cause my immune system to attack my nerves!
