Has anyone had a tendon transfer following problematic anterior THR?

I have no hip tendon due to multiple surgeries after partial hip replacement. I also have been told I need a hip tendon transfer but also have been told it may not correct the limp and will tJe a lot of post therapy . I will be interested in what you find.

@glen1 I think the limp you talk about is foot drop where you can't raise the front of your foot as you walk. I have it and wear a brace to help with that. Mine is because the nerve is dsmaged and afffcts the tendon wotking. There is lots online about tendon transfer.
