Bladder pain

I've noticed at tines when I do number 1 my bladder has light sharp pains. Sometimes the pain is hardly noticeable; has anyone in here dealt with this.

Did you have radiation to your prostate?

@asolidrock Just asking, because it's an occasional side-effect of radiation, and usually benign in that case. Since you haven't had radiation, I strongly recommend an appointment with your oncologist as soon as possible to discuss the bladder pain. Hopefully it's nothing, but the bladder is one of the first places cancer can spread from the prostate, so it would be good to rule it out.

My last PET scan didn't show anything my PSA was undetectable. I will contact my oncologist nurse to ask him for ne. There is no bleeding when I go to the "men's room" I've never had radiation . Thanks for your help

@asolidrock

Maybe urine culture test is in order - it could be possibly UTI, or even some "sand". I would strongly suggest you check your urine in a lab.
