Welcome @joepdx, I have PN but not due to COVID since it was 40+ years ago. While you wait for others members to respond I thought you might want to scan through the many other discussions members have started on "COVID and neuropathy" - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/search/discussions/.
Have you been diagnosed with PN or seen a neurologist? Have treatments been suggested to help with the PN symptoms?

@johnbishop thank you - yes I have seen neurologist and we have done a ton of blood work to eliminate other causes of symptoms. Just wrapping up a 12 day prednisone taper today to address possible immune related response. Neurologist thinks that my Covid infection back in September 2025 had my immune system primed and the shots got everything hyper excited in my nervous system. Besides feet and ankle pain, my tongue has also been tingly as well. Doing all the self-care things (getting decent sleep since my symptoms seem to calm down at night, taking nerve supplements, eliminated alcohol and eating healthy). Hoping with time, PN symptoms will reduce but have seen lots of people dealing with PN years after COVID or Covid vaccine.
I have had PN now for about 2-3 yrs. I firmly believe that it is the result of the Covid jabs as I can correlate its beginning with the timing of the last jab. I have a burning feeling in the ankles and the top of the feet. Luckily it has not progressed past the ankle area yet. I was using Wisemen Healing Balm for a lengthy period of time and that offered relief. I came across Mama Bear Oasis and decided to give it a try because the Wisemen is oily. I actually find that the Mama Bear offers equal or better relief. I apply it at bedtime nightly and during the day periodically. In regards to the cost, yes it is expensive unless you purchase it when it is offered during a sale period. I buy (12) bottles at $10.00 ea.
In addition I religiously use a LifePro vibrating platform daily for a 10 minute session at maximum vibration first thing in the morning. I feel that works well enough that I will begin adding a 2nd session in the evening.

@joepdx - I got PN from my 2nd COVID Phizer shot; started in my big toe a few weeks after. Burning Pain now up above the back of my butt. Feet somewhat cushiony/spongy. Had 5 corticosteroid shots; the last one did not work.

@joepdx , no it is staying quite stable, it is slightly worse. I might also mention by applying that to the leg muscles, night time cramps have all but disappeared.

@golfgame I don’t think it’s from the Covid shots - I got it in 2010, and it’s idiopathic. Are you pre-diabetic? The doctor told me it could’ve been caused by that. I’m so glad Mama Bear works for you - I got some, and it does make my feet feel better, but it’s very expensive, and I think any kind of lotion would work for me.

@sue4, same here in regards to the Covid jab...worse thing in the world. It was all unproven.

@golfgame it would keep you from dying, but you could still get Covid. My daughter refused the shot and was on a respirator for five weeks.
@golfgame mine started like that and has progressed over the last 15 years - long before Covid shots.
