I purchased the Burning Mouth Syndrome Survival Guide on Amazon. Written by a lady who struggles with BMS. Mine started August 2025. I take 1800 mg Gabapentin daily, and 600 mg R-Alpha Lipoic Acid. BMS is not a nerve damage situation, but rather, a MISFIRING OF NERVES IN THE MOUTH. I will be having an appt. with an oral pathologist, who treats BMS, and hopefully he'll order a HI Resolution MRI of the trigeminal roots.....(not the brain).
