I started bhrt last September had a large weekly patch that I had trouble keeping in place because of exercise. Didn't matter where it was. Also in the shower even if I was careful the edges would loosen. Pretty frustrating. The pharmacist suggested using a paper tape around the edges and that worked!
However, the large patches also left quite a large red circle each week. Not sure if I reacted to the adhesive or what caused it. After 2 months of fighting with it, I requested the twice weekly patch and the Dr called it in. I thpught maybe changing more often would help with the redness. They are very small compared to the weekly, no issues at all with coming loose, no red marks when I change. Much better. Not sure wjat you have, but worth a try if you have a large weekly patch.
