Would you be willing to share what your mold illness regimen consists of? I have a family member who has been treated for mycotoxins and curious if that is complicating my long covid illness. Thank you!

@susanpisces as with many things, it’s a bit complicated. When Dr Patterson discovered I had mold illness he couldn’t help me find treatment so I struck out on my own finding a couple of offices in Charleston that treat mold/mycotoxins and some reputable YouTube professionals. Quickly learned that there’s some disagreement about regimens that work. Personally took to Dr Andrew Campbell and his very straight approach. I chose a hybrid regimen which is part Dr Campbell and part Dr Weirs. 1. Ensure you are no longer exposed (done). 2. Antifungal Itraconazole (taking) 3. Supplements (taking, hybrid Campbell, Weirs) 4. Low histamine diet ( Weirs says not needed for me). 5. Glutathione and Fiber (Campbell disagrees, Weirs says he’s had success).

2 months down, 4 to go. Feeling human again for a 69 year old. Retest urin and blood at 6 months to prove my body is rid of mycotoxins. Those tests along with feeling better will be my proof this terrible 4+ years is behind me.

Highly recommend you ground yourself in a Doctor Andrew Campbell YouTube. He is very understandable and straight which I personally like.

Also, get tested. That’s what Dr Patterson did for me. When his regimen didn’t continue to work he paused with a hmmmmm and said we should test you for Lyme and Mold. Bingo!
