@kfontaine1002 Hi. I am having ctDNA tests done through Natera. Theirs is called signatera. They take samples from your cancer and develope a personal profile based on your cancer and your body and look for cancerous cells in your blood. The point is to find them before the nest and start growing a tumor I also have bladder cancer and that is what my tests are looking for.

There are other companies that do ctDNA tests but Natera seams to have the best reliability of results. I guess it would work for other cancers too. It has a very useful purpose for high grade invasive cancers.

@kfontaine1002 Yes, I am waiting for my first set of results now. Your surgeon / care team needs to order the test. You can learn about all the tests at natera oncology, which is a third party. It was literally PULLING teeth to get this test from the CC. No one seemed to know what I was talking about. Since I persisted, they finally routed my request to oncology from urology and my test was ordered - ALTERA. From what I have read this test will disclose everything there is to know about the blood circulation in my body via bio markers and the tumor deep dive via sequencing. This should reveal with great accuracy the additional exposure I have to cancer and the best course of treatment for my unique dna situation. You want this test.
