Induction done at UCSF and it was 7/21 while tackling my pneumonia. Azacitadine and veneclexta I think. Will look at the notes and correct if I am wrong!
I had platelets and potassium infusions (not sure how many/variety). It was a blur to be honest. The transfusions continued for several weeks. I will look back at the medical notes to see at what point they have me in remission. It wasn’t smooth sailing tho…ER visits due to extremely high Blood Pressure (209/156). Another visit to get more platelets and another due to a small stroke.
Got the high BP under control when we discovered 20% of patients experience high BP when taking one of the meds I was on; apologize for the spelling “Posaconisal” was the med.
