Anyone taking Tyenne (tocilizumab-aazg) for rheumatoid arthritis?

I suffer from severe rheumatoid arthritis since 2017. My Dr wants me to try a biological medication called Tyenne injection is. There someone that has experienced this medication? Little nervous to try

Hi
@peaceprevail7, may we know what medication you are on for PMR and GCA? What quantified your diagnosis? Blood level markers high?
My rheumatologists originally said I had RA and PMR but then decided otherwise. (In several chat rooms I have said my issues arose from a 6/11/24 shingles shot). Bone destruction necessitated my reverse left shoulder replacement. My right one will be done soon. 4 known RA meds did not work. I’m on Meloxicam 15mg for pain mgmt. Bones still destroying. Pain level continues at about a 12-14. I’m not kidding.
As to your GCA, did your doctors take a sample of your temporal artery for GCA analysis?
My vision has declined, my constant headaches have increased in strength, my left optical nerve has increased cupping. I will ask my ophthalmologist to prescribe Actemra. Any suggestions?
