You are doing phenomenal! Your PT is out of line and should never say something like that. It's very discouraging. I am 18 months post-TKR and still have pain issues. That you are only taking Tylenol and no pain medications is a testament to your pain tolerance. Keep on a regular schedule with your ice, as that truly is the best thing for swelling. Onward and upward.

@nw2999 I agree… it will be a year on 4/3 for my left.. and coming up on 7 months on my right. I can’t get to 120 on either. Couldn’t before TKR either. And doctor told me since I couldn’t before.. it would be harder to get there after. Not sure there will ever be ‘no pain’ at all. To say you have a low pain tolerance because you can’t bend to the 100-120 range yet.. that’s not professional, is unnecessary, discouraging to say. “Anyone”who has a TKR.. has to have a HIGH Tolerance for pain.. and Huge amount of Patience. I think you are doing good. Keep working at it.
