Neuro-Visual and Vestibular Disorders

Looking to see if better care is available in Mayo network...before moving on to Hopkins or other. I've lost 20 months of life quality, following a 2024 ischemic stroke, being repeatedly ghosted by Mayo Phoenix neuro and PT physicians. No stroke cause/contributor identified. No treatments whatsover. And most agonizing..I developed profound, persistent neuro-visual and vestibular issues about 8 months post-stroke. This condition evolution has essentially ended my life. Every time I drive or fly to Phoenix, I get reassured of ongoing diagnosis activities, treatments, etc. But every single time...once I get back home, crickets. Crickets for the entire first year after my initial.I have most obviously made a huge mistake assuming the Phoenix neuro team was within the Mayo sphere of world class healthcare. Should I have gone to Rochester instead? Jacksonville? Anyone familiar with these types of neurological issues and can recommend a POC? Thank you.

@unless, it is regrettable that the care at Mayo Clinic, Phoenix did not meet your expectations. You have a number of options available to you.

You can contact the Office of Patient Experience. Here is the contact information:
Here is the contact information
Mayo Clinic Office of Patient Experience
https://www.mayoclinic.org/about-mayo-clinic/patient-experience
Phone: 844-544-0036 (toll-free)
Email: opx@mayo.edu

You can request to have your care transferred to another Mayo Clinic location if that would work for you.

I recommend starting with the Office of Patient Experience.
