Naturopath Picked up Aspergillus niger

Posted by narelled23 @narelled23, 1 day ago

Hi all,
My Naturopath, who uses an electro-dermal screening process, has picked up Aspergillus niger, Coronavirus, Klebsiella pneumoniae and round worm in my screening. I had severe asthma/allergy issues while on the east coast of Australia last year, where there is much higher temps and humidity and feel these issues were probably collected over there.

I realise other folk have had Aspergillus uncovered in presumabely their sputums. Has anyone any experience with these issues and having them detected through naturopathy processes? I am on homeopathic drops with another appointment in around 3 months time.

Where are all these issues located? They are so different in nature- bacteria, mold so different. Is this an approved method of treatment? I wonder how it works for you. Let us know here

@narelled23 electro-dermal screening is not accepted as an effective screening process for infections.

Not a scientist, but a pretty savvy consumer, and I am highly skeptical of any test that purports to diagnose such a wide spectrum - virus, parasite, fungus and bacteria. These are all very different to one another and require completely different diagnostic tests in a medical laboratory.

If you believe you have Aspergillus, you should have your sputum tested in a lab.

Thank you, Sue.

I have seen this naturopath years back and she picked up a MTHFR defect in me. She worked as a hospital microbiologist for almost 20 years before making the switch because of her own health issues.

I take on board your comments and remain open as it may be that this type of testing is more sensitive. Interesting for me and it makes sense of my symptoms.

Will keep you informed of any results.

@narelled23 Thank you. I see an Oriental medicine practitioner/acupuncturist sometimes, and she says this electro-dermal screening an offshoot of OM, but not one they accept as valid, unless the person has full OM training. She never attempted to diagnose any infection in several years.

Am on the treatment so will let you know how I go. Strangely enough I had some bloods done this week too and have a call back to my Dr for tomorrow but don't think she was testing for infections. Will be interested to know what they have found.
