@jenatsky I was placed on the PPI after the endoscopy which showed esophagitis. Standard procedure and assumption it is always GERD. After much research on my end and 9 mos later, went to a new gastro doctor who did the Bravo pH test which revealed zero GERD. Low stomach acid (and high stomach acid GERD) have the same symptoms. So we believe I have low stomach acid and PPIs make that so much worse which we believe is why after trying 5 different PPIs initially, we were making the already low stomach acid much worse.

@derby0707 certainly a deli a for you and your docs. I know that PPIs can do a number on us long term. I wish you success.
