Anyone else feel Isolated and not go out due to chronic pain?
Hello, I’m new here, I was recommended to join and interact with others who are in a similar situation as myself, I don’t go out much due to chronic pain and I feel isolated, anyone else feel the same?

Hello Lauren, i'll absolutely call. I can fully relate as well. I think i read your post about achronoditis ( spelling ??) and googled to see if I might have it. My spinal nerves are a mess due the inplanting/ removal of a spinal cord stimulator.
Send me your phone number...are you in U.S.?
I'm in Florida, so on Eastern time. Talk soon. Hang in there 🙏 💓

1 ReactionHi, I'm new here.
Wanted you guys to know that I can relate. I work at home, which is great, except that it wears my out, and I almost never go anywhere except to the doctor. I am tired of always hurting and tired of being tired. I guess I just needed to say that to people that really understand. Fibromyalgia lets you look normal while it tears you apart and tears away the things that make you happy that you can no longer do. All of this coming from an "optimistic" person, LOL. Just needed to get it out and rant tonight. Thanks for listening.

@geezer43 I absolutely agree about constipation vs pain relief. There are many ways to help constipation. Non prescription drugs have plenty of side effects especially if you drink alcohol. Tylenol can damage the liver or kidneys. Advil or any NSAID can cause bleeding ulcers or really damage the liver if you consume alcohol.

1 ReactionI’ve been bed bound for nearly 14 years. I’ve felt that many times. For me, what helps is doing things I enjoy at home (reading, games, digital colouring, spending time with cats). I am also an introvert, so my social needs are much lower. I don’t know if that helps you, but I hope you feel less alone. Gentle hug.
